EU HNS
The objective of the contract was to design, plan, conduct and evaluate two tabletop exercises (TTX) with host nation support (HNS) as the main topic for key actors involved in a UCPM response.
The two HNS TTX needed to be conducted in different countries outside Europe with different emergency management structures.
Host Nation Support project with development and table-top exercises were successfully implemented in the Republic of Moldova and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. We developed in the project phase and offered the HNS Quick Reference Card, and the EU HNS pocket guide, items of the HNS toolkit, which escorted the participants through the exercise It also has some quite innovative elements: an e-learning online course in advance about how Host Nation Support works. The project also offered the participants to exercise in a virtual reality scenario, so they have the impression of how actual missions would look like.
